Your waste, your responsibility

Mansfield District Council are continuing to work to tackle littering and fly tipping around the Oak Tree Estate.

Local Neighbourhood Warden Michelle Barber is working with the council`s enforcement officer for enviro-crimes to identify key areas to tackle the problems. Key problems include residents illegally dumping waste in communal areas and disposing of waste onto the heath.

In addition to previously placed warning signs in hotspot locations, warning and advice letters have been delivered to households sited in areas where fly tipping is a persistent problem.

For more information on fly tipping and householders duty of care to dispose of waste correctly please see the Household Waste Guide

You can report fly tipping online or call the council on 01623 463463
