Mansfield Community Partnership is Mansfield's community safety partnership.
MCP’s aim is:
“To work to make our communities safe and our residents feel safer”
Working together to find solutions
MPAC brings organisations such as Mansfield District Council, the Police, Nottinghamshire County Council, Notts. Fire and Rescue Service, Mansfield and Ashfield Clinical Commissioning Group and Nottinghamshire Probation Trust together to deal with issues such as alcohol-related crime, anti-social behaviour, burglary, domestic abuse, personal safety and vehicle crime.
The Partnership was set up by law under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.
How we work
We concentrate on particular areas - known as Partnership Plus areas. Oak Tree is currently a Partnership Plus area.
Representatives from the partnership organisations meet regularly to plan, deliver and check work in these areas.
We also have a number of themed action groups covering issues such as domestic abuse and substance misuse and a Crime and Disorder Focus Group which concentrates on anti-social behaviour cases.
We work together – and with other groups and residents – to find solutions to issues in the district.
