Support the White Ribbon Campaign and pledge your support to end violence against women and girls.
25th November is White Ribbon Day. To mark the day Mansfield District Council is
asking Oak Tree residents to sign the White Ribbon pledge “never to commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women”. The council is encouraging residents to visit the White Ribbon website and fill in the on-line pledge form.
The White Ribbon Campaign was launched in 1991 after 14 female students were murdered at the University of Montreal, Canada. For more information about the campaign visit the White Ribbon website.
